Value Added Licence

What does a Value Added Licence cover?

A Value Added Licence covers value added material which falls outside the scope of the PSI Licence. This term is formally defined within HM Treasury’s Cross Cutting Review of the Knowledge Economy.

Office of Government Commerce material

OPSI no longer issues Value Added Licences for Crown copyright material produced by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC). If you wish to re-use any of this material, please go to the Office of Government Commerce directly.

A Delegation of Authority was issued to OGC by the Controller of HMSO on 1 June 2009 to license the Crown copyright and Crown-owned copyrights and database rights in material produced or commissioned by OGC.
